As oyster farmers we understand the cost and time pressures placed on farmers and the economic impact of constantly having to maintain and replace unreliable shellfish farming infrastructure. With this understanding our company has been rigorously testing on farm performance of the Hexcyl shellfish baskets and attachments since 2008.
Hexcyl Oyster Baskets and Clips have also undergone extensive independent Finite Element Analysis and Laboratory based accelerated Life Testing using "state of art" rapid aging testing equipment.
A key feature of Hexcyl shellfish baskets is the unique plastic materials and well as a conscious decision by our company not to incorporate degraded recycled plastic into our product range. With the use of 100% virgin material and no built in redundancy, Hexcyl shellfish baskets become almost unbreakable.....even in the coldest of climates. Watch the videos below
MATERIAL INFORMATION
Our baskets and clips will outperform other plastic baskets because we use a specially developed Ultra High Impact Reistant materials known for sub zero temperature performance.
Hexcyl Basket and Lid - Ultra high Impact grate. Flamability - DIN 4102 B2: normal combustibility similar to wooden pallets. Food Grade - When used in accordance with FDA application guidelines, this product meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a and AS2070-1999 section 4.1.1(a).
